These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jellyfish Museum website, ticketing pages, and in-person visits (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Jellyfish Museum LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By purchasing a ticket, visiting the Museum, or using the Services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1) Legal Agreement & Acceptance BY EXPRESSLY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU CONFIRM THAT: (i) you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (ii) you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement; (iii) you have authority to accept these Terms personally; and (iv) if acting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you are authorized to bind that entity, and “you” refers to both you and that entity. DO NOT USE THE SERVICES IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL TERMS. Your use of the Services may also be governed by additional policies we publish from time to time (“Policies”), including our Privacy Policy. If a Policy conflicts with these Terms, the Policy controls.
2) Eligibility & Supervision You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets online. Minors may visit the Museum only when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult, unless otherwise approved in writing for organized groups.
3) Tickets & Admission 3.1 Final Sale All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
3.2 One Ticket = One Entry Each ticket permits one (1) entry and is valid only for the date and time shown on the confirmation.
3.3 Capacity & Entry Admission is subject to capacity limits. During peak periods, a single live queue may form. Entry at a specific time is not guaranteed.
3.4 Late Arrival Late arrival may result in delayed or denied entry depending on capacity. Admission is not guaranteed for significantly late arrivals.
3.5 QR Code Entry Guests must present a valid ticket QR code (digital or printed) for entry.
3.6 No Transfer, Resale, or Commercial Use Tickets are non-transferable, not for resale, and may not be used for commercial purposes. We reserve the right to cancel tickets and deny entry if misuse is suspected.
4) Presale Tickets & Flex Entry
4.1 Presale Terms Presale tickets are discounted, limited, and non-refundable, except as stated in Section 13.
4.2 Presale Flex Entry Allows entry at any time during regular operating hours on the selected date.
4.3 Presale Rescheduling (24-Hour Rule) Presale tickets may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the visit date, subject to availability. Within 24 hours, changes, cancellations, or refunds are not permitted. Presale tickets may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit date and time, subject to availability. In the event of a reschedule, refund, or ticket modification, any third-party processing or platform fees are non-refundable and will be borne by the ticket holder. Any additional reschedule requests will be subject to a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the ticket price. Rescheduling fees are not penalties and reflect administrative and operational costs associated with ticket changes.
5) Standard Ticket Rescheduling (48-Hour Rule) Standard (non-presale) tickets may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled visit date and time, subject to availability. In the event of a reschedule, refund, or ticket modification, any third party processing or platform fees are non-refundable and will be borne by the ticket holder. Any additional reschedule requests will be subject to a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the ticket price. Rescheduling fees are not penalties and reflect administrative and operational costs associated with ticket changes.
6) Visit Duration There is no time limit on visits during regular operating hours unless otherwise announced.
7) Children & Groups Children Under 3 Children ages 0–2 are admitted free. Proof of age may be requested. Without proof, a child ticket may be required. Supervision Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Adults are responsible for behavior and safety. School & Group Visits School and group visits must remain with their assigned guide at all times.
8) Food, Drinks, Pets & Personal Items Outside food is not permitted. Drinks must be in closed containers. Animals are not permitted, except service animals as required by law. Wet umbrellas must be placed in protective bags provided by staff.
9) Safety, Conduct & Exhibits Guests must follow all posted rules and staff instructions. Running, disruptive behavior, unsafe conduct, excessive noise, or failure to respect personal space is not permitted. Aquarium Safety: Do not touch aquariums or lean on exhibit glass. Right to Remove: The Museum reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any visitor at any time for safety, operational, or policy reasons, without refund.
10) Security, Photography & Monitoring Flash photography may be restricted near exhibits. For safety reasons, staff may inspect bags or personal items. Video surveillance is in operation throughout the Museum for security and operational purposes.
11) Accessibility (ADA) The Museum complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please notify staff if assistance or reasonable accommodations are required.
12) Emergencies In an emergency, guests must follow posted evacuation routes, diagrams, and staff instructions.
13) Museum Closures & Operational Interruptions If the Museum cannot operate due to technical issues, safety concerns, weather, governmental actions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will notify guests as soon as reasonably practicable. Guests will be offered: • rescheduling to alternative dates/times, or • a refund if rescheduling is not reasonably available.
14) Lost or Unattended Items The Museum is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal items.
15) Intellectual Property All content, exhibits, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to Jellyfish Museum LLC and may not be used without written permission, except for lawful personal use.
16) Third-Party Services We are not responsible for third-party services integrated into ticketing, payments, or platforms.
17) Disclaimers Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
18) Limitation of Liability Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the ticket(s) giving rise to the claim.
19) Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jellyfish Museum LLC from claims arising from violations of these Terms.
20) Force Majeure We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
21) Governing Law & Venue Florida law applies. Venue lies exclusively in Broward County, Florida.
22) Severability & Entire Agreement If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains effective. These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
23) Updates to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
