White-Spotted Jellyfish
(Phyllorhiza punctata)
Glide into the enchanting world of the White-Spotted Jellyfish, a graceful creature with a translucent bell dotted in sparkling white. Its flowing tentacles and gentle movements create a mesmerizing underwater dance, capturing the beauty and magic of the ocean in every moment.


Chrysaora fuscescens, the Pacific sea nettle
A large, graceful jellyfish native to the Pacific coast of North America. It features a golden-brown bell with dark radial stripes and extremely long, flowing tentacles that can reach several meters. This species drifts slowly through coastal waters, feeding on plankton and small fish, and is admired for its striking appearance, though it can deliver a mild to moderate sting.

Atlantic Sea Nettle
(Chrysaora quinquecirrha)

Blue Blueberry Jellyfish
(Catostylus mosaicus)
is a mesmerizing jellyfish with a delicate translucent dome shimmering in shades of blue and violet, like floating blueberries. Its long, flowing tentacles move in a slow, graceful underwater dance, while a soft glow illuminates its elegant form. This jellyfish embodies calm, harmony, and the mysterious beauty of the ocean, captivating all who watch it.

Rhopilema esculentum, the flame jellyfish
Large edible jellyfish found in the coastal waters of East Asia. Recognizable by its firm bell and fiery orange coloration, which gives it the name “flame.” It feeds on plankton, plays an important role in marine ecosystems, and is widely used in Asian cuisine.


Lion’s Mane Jellyfish
One of the largest jellyfish species in the world, known for its long, flowing tentacles that resemble a lion’s mane. Found mainly in cold northern oceans, it drifts gracefully through the water feeding on small fish and plankton. Despite its beauty, its sting can be quite powerful.


Egg Yolk Jellyfish (Phacellophora camtschatica)
a large jellyfish named for its bright yellow bell that resembles an egg yolk. Found in cold and temperate Pacific waters, it feeds on zooplankton and other small jellyfish. Its tentacles can sting, but they are usually not dangerous to humans.
Cassiopea
(upside-down jellyfish)
Cassiopea is a genus of true jellyfish found in warm coastal waters like Florida, the Caribbean, and Micronesia. They usually rest upside-down on shallow sea floors to support their symbiotic photosynthetic algae. These jellyfish come in various colors, have unique feeding and reproduction methods, may exhibit sleep-like behavior despite lacking a brain, and produce toxic mucus.

Tickets may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled visit time, subject to availability.

There is no time limit on your visit during regular museum hours.Entry
Please have your ticket QR code ready for entry.
Children ages 0–2 are admitted free of charge.
Staff may request proof of age (ID or document showing date of birth). If proof is not provided, the
Museum reserves the right to require the purchase of a child ticket.
Supervision
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Adults are responsible for ensuring
respectful and safe behavior.
School and group visit

Animals are not permitted, except for service animals as required by law.
